Tucked away in the wooded mountainside of Evergreen, Colorado, our Lone Elk Ridge project embodies the serene spirit of mountain living while balancing the realities of modern functionality and budget-conscious design.

This new-build residence is surrounded by towering pines and rugged granite outcroppings, offering a feeling of seclusion and natural beauty that informed every design choice. In collaboration with Wyrick Mountain Homes, our role was to bring this setting to life , providing the design for the kitchen, bar, laundry room, and bathrooms.

Of course, no project is without its challenges. The client’s budget, while healthy, required us to be highly intentional about selections and prioritizing impact while making strategic trade-offs to deliver the aesthetic vision without overextending resources.

Our Lone Elk Ridge project is more than just a new house on a beautiful lot, it’s a story of partnership, problem-solving, and place-based design that honors the mountains rugged, quiet beauty. A home built for gathering, relaxing, and living in sync with the mountains that surround it.
